Type: SN Ia
Redshift: 0.095

Remarks: Using Superfit (Howell et al. 2005, ApJ, 634, 1190) and SNID (Blondin & Tonry 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024) we find best fits to normal SNe Ia around maximum light. The spectrum is contaminated by the host galaxy, but we tentatively identify Si II absorption at 10,000 km/s and Ca II absorption at 15,000 km/s. A redshift of z=0.095 is measured from host galaxy emission lines in the spectrum. Assuming this redshift, the peak absolute magnitude of the SN from the ZTF light curve is approximately -19.3, consistent with a SN Ia at maximum light.
