Date Received (UTC): 2022-05-16 17:19:44 Sender: Megan Newsome
Group: Global SN Project
Megan Newsome (LCO/UCSB), Yael Dgany (TAU), Iair Arcavi, Daichi Hiramatsu, D. Andrew Howell, Curtis McCully, Estefania Padilla Gonzalez, Craig Pellegrino report/s a classification of object: AT 2021fxu
Type: AGNRedshift: 0.1097
Remarks: Our spectrum shows galactic lines of narrow H and O III at z= 0.109700, which matches the redshift of the host galaxy WISEA J134718.77+021057.7 (2017ApJS..233...17R, value from NED). The long-term variability in the lightcurve (ZTF) and nuclear nature of the transient indicate an AGN.
The following Classification spectrum was provided:
Obsdate: 2022-05-15 11:01:58
Instrument: FLOYDS-N
Telescope: Faulkes Telescope North
