Charlotte Angus report/s a classification of object: SN 2021iyt
Type: SNRedshift: 0.0712
Remarks: Spectrum taken with ALFOSC/NOT in gr4 on 10/04/2021. Signatures of flash ionisation are seen within the spectrum (a blue continuum with strong He II and C III emission features and some weak Balmer lines). The rapid rise of the light curve in both YZE and ZTF imaging suggests that the transient was very young at the time of observation.
