Yuhan Yao (Caltech), Sjoert van Velzen (Leiden University), Daniel Perley (LJMU), Suvi Gezari (STScI), Erica Hammerstein (UMD), Jean Somalwar (Caltech), Yashvi Sharma (Caltech), Shri Kulkarni (Caltech) report/s a classification of object: TDE 2021jjm

Type: TDE
Redshift: 0.153

Remarks: We report the classification of the optical transient AT2021jjm (ZTF21aauuybx) (RA=14:39:30.67, Dec=-27:51:30.66) as a tidal disruption event (TDE). AT2021jjm was first reported to TNS based on a Zwicky Transient Facility (ZTF) detection on 2021 April 8 at a magnitude of g = 20.11. The ZTF color of this source has remained blue since then. We obtained a spectrum with the Low-Resolution Imaging Spectrograph (LRIS) on Keck I on 2021 May 13. This spectrum displays a blue continuum, host galaxy lines at the redshift z=0.153, and broad emission features around Halpha and Hbeta. Following the classification scheme suggested by van Velzen et al. 2021, we classify it as a TDE-H.

The following Classification spectrum was provided:
