M. Fulton, S. Srivastav, S. J. Smartt, K. W. Smith, D. R. Young, S. A. Sim, J. Gillanders, T. Moore (Queen's University Belfast) report/s a classification of object: SN 2022fqe
Type: SN IIRedshift: 0.025
Remarks: A low signal spectrum, however, weak Balmer lines are visible and matches with SNe II near peak were obtained using SNID (e.g., SN1999em at t = -4d) which is consistent with the phase of the ATLAS lightcurve. Redshift from the known host NGC 5995 (on NED).
The following Classification spectrum was provided:
Obsdate: 2022-04-08 04:59:04
Instrument: SPRAT
Telescope: Liverpool Telescope
Remarks: Spectrum was obtained with the Liverpool Telescope and reduced using the integrated quick reduction pipeline.
