Group: None
Claudio Balcon (Belluno A.O. ISSP) report/s a classification of object: SN 2022frn
Type: SN IaRedshift: 0.026
Remarks: GELATO (Harutyunyan et al., 2008, A&A, 488, 383) suggests that this low S/N spectrum resembles that of SN Type Ia about ten days before the maximum light. The redshift has been deduced from the SN spectral fitting.
The following Classification spectrum was provided:
Obsdate: 2022-04-07 21:21:00
Instrument: Other
Telescope: Other
Remarks: I obtained the low-resolution spectrum R~100 using the FOSC-ES32 spectrograph attached to a 0.2m telescope, in the course of Italian Supernovae Search Project.
Details of the object and its spectra can be viewed here: https://www.wis-tns.org/object/2022frn
