Type: SN Ia
Redshift: 0.027

Remarks: Using Superfit (Howell et al. 2005, ApJ, 634, 1190) and SNID (Blondin & Tonry 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024) we find best fits to young normal SNe Ia, including SN 2003du about 10 days before maximum. The supernova is closest to SDSS J084834.99+304203.0 (z = 0.026798, 2016SDSSD.C...0000; value from NED). This redshift is well-matched by the best-fit SNID spectrum. The most recent g-band detection from ZTF is 17.6 (-17.9) mag, consistent with a young SN Ia.
