Andrew Howell, Curtis McCully, Megan Newsome, Estefania Padilla Gonzalez, Giacomo Terreran Global SN Project SN II 0.012185 1 Global SN Project The spectrum, obtained roughly a day after the initial ATLAS discovery, shows a featureless blue continuum. We tentatively identify weak, broad H-alpha emission at the rest wavelength of the host galaxy (z=0.012185, 1997AJ....114.1313C, values from NED). The g-band magnitude, obtained by Las Cumbres Observatory, roughly coeval with the spectrum is 15.98, 0.2 magnitudes brighter than the previous photometry obtained a day prior. The hot blue continuum and rising light curve indicate that the SN is young. Further follow-up is encouraged. 2023TNSCR.218....1P
