TNS Classification Report No. 14414 [ 2023TNSCR.345....1B ]
Date Received (UTC): 2023-02-12 23:22:13 Sender: Claudio Balcon
Group: None
Claudio Balcon (Belluno A.O. ISSP) report/s a classification of object: SN 2023bfa
Type: SN IaRedshift: 0.032
Remarks: GELATO (Harutyunyan et al., 2008, A&A, 488, 383) suggests that this spectrum resembles that of a type Ia supernova near the maximum light. The redshift has been deduced from the SN spectral fitting.
The following Classification spectrum was provided:
Obsdate: 2023-02-12 21:47:00
Instrument: Other
Telescope: Other
Remarks: We obtained the low-resolution spectrum R~100 using the FOSC-ES32 spectrograph attached to a 0.2m telescope, in the course of Italian Supernovae Search Project.
Details of the object and its spectra can be viewed here: https://www.wis-tns.org/object/2023bfa
