The low S/N spectrum resembles that of type I supernova. GELATO (Harutyunyan et al. 2008, 2008A&A...488..383H) suggests matches with type Ia-91T-like several days before the maximum although a fair match with BL Ic SN is also obtained. Host galaxy redshift from NED.
