14478 2023-02-26 17:38:18 Kenta Taguchi Kenta Taguchi (Kyoto University), Kohki Uno (Kyoto University), Takashi Nagao (University of Turku, Aalto University), Keiichi Maeda (Kyoto University) None TDE 1 Our spectrum is very blue and exhibits broad Balmer lines. The spectral features are very similar to a sample of previously-identified TDEs (e.g., AT 2018hyz = ASASSN-18zj). Assuming the distance of 50-100 Mpc to the host galaxy NGC 3799, the current absolute magnitude is about -17 or -18 mag. It is likely still rising for another one or two magnitudes. Follow-up observations are highly encouraged. 2023TNSCR.438....1T
