Panos Charalampopoulos report/s a classification of object: SN 2023nnl
Type: SN IaRedshift: 0.0617
Remarks: We report the classification of AT2023nnl as a Ia supernova based on an optical spectrum obtained with the Nordic Optical Telescope on 2023-07-25 (i.e., MJD 60150.01). The transient is coincident with the nucleus of the host galaxy. Comparison with a library of supernovae spectra using SNID (Blondin & Tonry 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024) suggests AT2023nnl is an around-peak SN Ia at a redshift of z~0.06166. The redshift estimate is further confirmed by the identification of CaII H&K and NaID host galaxy lines.
The following Classification spectrum was provided:
Obsdate: 2023-07-25 00:20:25
Instrument: ALFOSC
Telescope: Nordic Optical Telescope
