Sara Balcon, Claudio Balcon (Belluno A.O.-ISSP) report/s a classification of object: SN 2023nox
Type: SN IaRedshift: 0.028247
Remarks: DASH (Muthukrishna et al., 2019, ApJ, 885, 85) suggests that this low S/N spectrum resembles that of a type la supernova at the redshift of the host galaxy, value from NED.
The following Classification spectrum was provided:
Obsdate: 2023-08-07 20:39:00
Instrument: Other
Telescope: Other
Remarks: We obtained the low-resolution spectrum R~100 using the FOSC-ES32 spectrograph attached to a 0.2m telescope, in the course of Italian Supernovae Search Project.
Details of the object and its spectra can be viewed here: https://www.wis-tns.org/object/2023nox
