Claudio Balcon (Belluno A.O. ISSP) report/s a classification of object: SN 2023qa
Type: SN IaRedshift: 0.012609
Remarks: GELATO (Harutyunyan et al., 2008, A&A, 488, 383) suggests that this low S/N spectrum resembles that of supernova Type la about ten days after the maximum at the redshift of the host galaxy, value from NED. The spectrum is strongly reddened due to the Milky Way.
The following Classification spectrum was provided:
Obsdate: 2023-01-26 19:49:00
Instrument: Other
Telescope: Other
Remarks: We obtained the low-resolution spectrum R~100 using the FOSC-ES32 spectrograph attached to a 0.2m telescope, in the course of Italian Supernovae Search Project.
Details of the object and its spectra can be viewed here: https://www.wis-tns.org/object/2023qa
