15610 2023-09-21 18:59:45 Estefania Padilla Gonzalez Estefania Padilla Gonzalez, Joseph Farah, D. Andrew Howell, Curtis McCully, Craig Pellegrino, Megan Newsome, Giacomo Terreran Global SN Project SN Ia 0.028 1 Global SN Project Using Superfit (Howell et al. 2005, ApJ, 634, 1190) and SNID (Blondin & Tonry 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024), we find best fits to SNe Ia around maximum light, including SN 2005na and SN 2006cj. The supernova is closest to ESO 076- G 019 (z= 0.028 1998A&AS..130..333T; value from NED). From this redshift we identify a Si II 6355 velocity of approximately 11,000 km/s. Adopting the luminosity distance computed from this redshift (123.2 Mpc ) ; the orange-ATLAS absolute magnitude of the object is -18 (apparent magnitude 17.5 from ZTF) on the rise. This absolute magnitude and velocity is consistent with an SN Ia near maximum light. 2023TNSCR2348....1G
