Claudio Balcon (Belluno A.O. ISSP) report/s a classification of object: SN 2023ung
Type: SN IaRedshift: 0.037798
Remarks: The low S/N spectrum is contaminated by the host galaxy. DASH (Muthukrishna et al., 2019, ApJ, 885, 85) suggests that this spectrum resembles that of a type la supernova near maximum light at the redshift of the host galaxy, value from NED.

Remarks: We obtained the low-resolution spectrum using the FOSC-ES32 spectrograph attached to a 0.41m telescope, in the course of Italian Supernovae Search Project.
