Claudio Balcon (Belluno A.O. ISSP) report/s a classification of object: SN 2023uqu
Type: SN IaRedshift: 0.04
Remarks: GELATO (Harutyunyan et al., 2008, A&A, 488, 383) suggests that this spectrum resembles that of a Type Ia supernova about 5 days before the maximum. The redshift was deduced from the spectral match with SN1992A.
The following Classification spectrum was provided:
Obsdate: 2023-10-17 19:21:00
Instrument: FOSC-E5535
Telescope: Belluno Telescope
Remarks: We obtained the low-resolution spectrum using the FOSC-ES32 spectrograph attached to a 0.41m telescope, in the course of the Italian Supernovae Search Project.
Details of the object and its spectra can be viewed here: https://www.wis-tns.org/object/2023uqu
