Jingyuan Zhao, Xing Gao (Xingming Obs.) report/s a classification of object: SN 2023usf
Type: SN Ib/cRedshift: 0.012
Remarks: A low resolution spectrum of SN 2023usf was obtained by XOSS. GELATO (Harutyunyan et al., 2008, A&A, 488, 383) suggests that this spectrum resembles that of supernova Type Ib/c at the redshift of the host galaxy (value from NED), e.g., type Ib supernova SN 2009jf at t = -4.9 d; type Ic supernova SN 2004fe at t = -5.7 d.
