Kenta Taguchi (Kyoto University), Avinash Singh (Hiroshima University), Miho Kawabata (Kyoto University), Keiichi Maeda (Kyoto University), Anjasha Gangopadhyay (Hiroshima University) report/s a classification of object: SN 2023utc
Type: SN IbnRedshift: 0.013
Remarks: Considering the narrow emission lines observed around 6647 and 4926 A as H-alpha and H-beta from the host/SN, the source is located at an estimated redshift of ~ 0.013. We also report signatures of He II 4686 along with He I 4921, 5016, 5876 and 6678 in our spectrum. Using GELATO, we find a best match at z = 0.013 with the Type Ibn SN 2005la.
The following Classification spectrum was provided:
Obsdate: 2023-10-23 19:44:44
