Claudio Balcon (Belluno A.O. ISSP) report/s a classification of object: SN 2023wcr
Type: SN IIRedshift: 0.00476
Remarks: GELATO (Harutyunyan et al., 2008, A&A, 488, 383) suggests that this low S/N spectrum resembles that of a type II supernova few days after the explosion at the redshift of the host galaxy (value from NED).
The following Classification spectrum was provided:
Obsdate: 2023-10-31 22:10:00
Instrument: FOSC-E5535
Telescope: Belluno Telescope
Remarks: We obtained the low-resolution spectrum using the FOSC-ES32 spectrograph attached to a 0.41m telescope, in the course of Italian Supernovae Search Project.
Details of the object and its spectra can be viewed here: https://www.wis-tns.org/object/2023wcr
