Remarks: We report the classification of ZTF23abkixdb/AT2023wdb as a tidal disruption event (TDE) in a galaxy at redshift z=0.06. Discovered by ZTF on 2023-Nov-01, the TDE appears to be peaking in brightness. A spectrum obtained on MJD 60257.1 with the 3-m Shane telescope at Lick Observatory has a blue continuum with broad H and He II lines. The spectrum has been uploaded to TNS.
