F. Poidevin (IAC and ULL), S. Geier (GRANTECAN & IAC), I. Pérez-Fournon, C. M. Gutiérrez (IAC & ULL), Z. Delgado-González (ULL), C. Jiménez Angel (GRANTECAN), R. Könyves-Tóth (Konkoly Observatory, Univ. of Szeged), R. Marques-Chaves (Univ. of Geneva), C. M. B. Omand (The Oskar Klein Centre), and R. Shirley (MPE) on behalf of the SGLF SLSN group report/s a classification of object: SN 2024bex
Type: SN Ia-CSMRedshift: 0.1423
Remarks: SN Ia-CSM classified with NOT ALFOSC (grism 4). It was selected for spectroscopic follow-up as a SLSN candidate using the ALeRCE light curve classification and the slowly evolving ZTF and ATLAS light curve. It was observed with NOT ALFOSC 43.6 days after the first ZTF detection. Classification using SNID. The reported redshift is from the [OIII] 5007 narrow emission line from the host galaxy. Further follow up is strongly encouraged. The ZTF light curve is available at the LSST/ZTF brokers, e.g.: https://lasair-ztf.lsst.ac.uk/objects/ZTF24aadqwju/ https://alerce.online/object/ZTF24aadqwju https://antares.noirlab.edu/loci/ANT20241tpytb0c1skv
