Date Received (UTC): 2024-03-21 21:44:59 Sender: Sebastian Gomez
Group: FLEET
Sebastian Gomez (STScI), Daichi Hiramatsu (Harvard CfA), Edo Berger (Harvard CfA), Harsh Kumar (Harvard CfA), Peter Blanchard (Northwestern) report/s a classification of object: SN 2024cxe
Type: SN IaRedshift: 0.1077
Remarks: 2024bhu was selected as a possible TDE by our FLEET program with a P(TDE) = 80% (Gomez et al., 2023, ApJ, 949, 113). The redshift of z = 0.1077 was determined narrow N II and H emission lines. We find a best match to the SN Ia 2015N at around 20 days past peak using the NGSF (AstroNote 2022-191).
The following Classification spectrum was provided:
Obsdate: 2024-03-17 00:00:00
Instrument: BINOSPEC
Telescope: MMT Observatory 6.5m
