Group: None
Kenta Taguchi (Kyoto University), Eleni Koutsiona (University of Crete, Kyoto University), Keiichi Maeda (Kyoto University) report/s a classification of object: SN 2024dop
Type: SN IaRedshift: 0.023093
Remarks: Redshift from NED.
The following Classification spectrum was provided:
Obsdate: 2024-03-03 17:50:12
Instrument: Other
Telescope: Other
Remarks: We performed a spectroscopic follow-up observation with KOOLS-IFU mounted on the 3.8-m Seimei telescope at Okayama Observatory of Kyoto University. The spectral resolution is ~ 500, and the wavelength coverage is 4100-8500 A. We took the median of two spectra (unit in count) produced for each exposure of the SN by the KOOLS-IFU quick look system and that of five spectra of the standard star HD 93521 to perform flux calibration.
