Based on this similarity, we identify the supernova associated with EP260321a as a broad-lined type-Ic SN similar to other SNe accompanying GRBs and FXTs. 2026TNSCR1271....1C

tns_2026gzf_atrep_23335_STARGATE.png Comparison figure obtained using SNID Sage. The blue line represents the spectrum of SN2026gzf and the red line the spectrum of SN 2006aj. The differences, most notably around 4800 AA could be due to differences in the expansion velocity.
