About AT-report 166437

We submitted AT-report 166437 to register a new transient. However, the TNS system automatically treated the report as an update for AT2022acfv (because of the relatively small offset between the two transients). The two tranisents should be independent events. At present, we are not able to obtain a new AT name for the second one. 

 

To clarify, here is a short summary about the two transients:

 

Transient 2022Oct:

Position: RA=0:14:19.6589, DEC=-30:23:51.077

Discovery Date: 10/20/2022 UT

Photometry (AB): F115W=29.38(0.23), F150W=28.51(0.11), F200W=28.56(0.13), F277W=28.48(0.21), F356W=29.00(0.26), F444W=29.74(0.79).

 

Transient 2022Dec:

Position: RA=0:14:19.5675, DEC=-30:23:52.317

Discovery Date: 12/06/2022 UT

Photometry (AB): F115W=30.10(0.56), F150W=29.64(0.23), F200W=28.86(0.18), F277W=28.99(0.19), F356W=29.17(0.23), F444W=29.35(0.59).
