143272023-01-26 22:18:40sgomezSebastian Gomez (STScI), Daichi Hiramatsu (Harvard CfA), Edo Berger (Harvard CfA)BTDGSN II0.143BTDGWe classify 2022lvm as a Type II SN due to the presence of strong broad Balmer emission lines. We note however there is significant contamination from the underlying host galaxy in the spectrum. We determine a redshift of z = 0.143 from narrow host emission lines. At this redshift the peak absolute magnitude of the SN is significantly brighter than normal SNe IIP at M_r ~ -20.6.2023TNSCR.207....1G
