This is a LMXB hosting a black hole candidate

Mi Zhang and Xing Gao discovered the transient while observing GRB 230824A (Swift J1727.8-1613). This transient has been confirmed as a new low-mass X-ray binary (LMXB) hosting a black hole candidate according to A. J. Castro-Tirado et al., see ATel#16208, https://www.astronomerstelegram.org/?read=16208 . Multi-band photometric and spectroscopic observations are strongly encouraged.
