Indeed, although the gelato system does not suggest SNe Ia, the spectrum is well fitted by the spectra of PTF10cmj and SN2019giy around their peaks. In addition, the redshit is z=0.036812. Assuming the usual cosmological parameters, the distance modulus is estimated to be ~36.0, and the absolute mag should be ~ -19.2 mag, which is typical magnitude of SNe Ia. We conclude that SN 2023uta is an SN Ia, not SLSN. 2023TNSCR2672....1U

In addition, considering its photo-z redshift (z=0.037), the absolute magnitude reaches ~-20mag. Therefore, we propose that this transient is an SLSN-I. 2023TNSCR2570....1U

Typo on the classification comment

In the classification comment (ID: 15762), "considering its photo-z redshift" should be "considering its spec-z redshift".
